I have always loved capturing moments and telling stories, and my blog is the perfect place to share them.
I love working on blogging projects with brands in which I have the freedom to be creative and authentic – they’re always the posts most-loved by my readers, too.
I’ve loved writing and sharing stories ever since I could hold a pencil, and I’ve loved Bristol from the moment I first visited around 20 years ago.
I’ve been blogging about everything catching my attention since 2010, sharing posts on my lifestyle and fashion blog, Being Little. I worked with all sorts of brands – big and small, from fashion to food, travel to beauty – it was an exciting venture.
Now, I’ve narrowed my gaze for my new blog. I love to write for sustainable brands, indie shops and the Bristol food scene, but my one truest love will always be creative writing.
Kindness over everything, always; supporting one another & the local indie scene in Bristol.
Keeping things carefully considered and sustainable, wherever possible.
Telling slow stories, consuming thoughtfully, sharing authentically.
Ok, less of a one-woman band, as I can’t play any instruments, but most of what you see on these pages is all my own content.
As well as doing a heck of a lot of writing, I’m also the admin guy, the photographer (unless otherwise stated), the proof reader, social media manager, and more besides.
Of course, I have some extremely talented pals who help me along the way – this beautiful website was built by Studio Cotton, and some of the photos were taken by Elinor John and Jack Fairey.
I’ve worked together with brands and businesses of all sizes on reviews, roundups, travel guides, informative articles, product placements, and more.
Whether you’re a small indie business wanting to get more eyes on your products, or a more established brand who works with bloggers and influencers all the flippin’ time – I’m your gal.
It’s not just the ever-changing sky, it’s not just the winding river, and it’s not just the colourful streets that make this city so special to me – it’s the people.
Whether they’re opening a new cafe, putting on an exhibition, or they’re a pal who’s recommending something they know I’ll love, Bristol is full of the friendliest, most creative people, and that’s why I love writing about it so damn much.
Taking care of our world and those around us is so important. I feel that it makes perfect sense to extend those values to my blog.
I do my best to only highlight sustainably made or second hand, as well as championing outfit repetition and wearing what you have.
I will not write anything which judges, harms or upsets. Anything that may cause any upset will come with an obvious trigger warning.
I believe in supporting one another, whether it's on a business level or a human level. I will always strive to make this a friendly and inclusive place.
