20 Bristol bloggers, influencers and content creators that I love to follow

21 February 2025

I’ve been blogging since the late 2000s, but it really took off after I started a new blog in 2010 – any of my long-time followers remember me as Being Little? 🥲 there’s nowt on that website anymore, as I moved all my best blog posts over here, but even looking at the basic blogger layout gives me a cute pang of nostalgia.

When I moved to Bristol in 2012, it sort of felt like I had a ready-made community waiting for me – the blogger scene back then was sooo lively, with lots of events and meet ups, and so, unsurprisingly, I met a lot of my friends through blogging and Instagram.

It was (and is) such an easy way to find like-minded people, and during the peak, we organised a meet up where bloggers from all over the country came together to hang out in Bristol – I would absolutely love a reunion, by the way, if any of you are reading this… drop me a DM if you’re game.

These days, there are fewer Bristol bloggers, as many of them have moved over to social media influencing instead. However, with certain social media platforms becoming increasingly frustrating and scary, I reckon in 2025 we’ll see a real resurgence of blogging.

This week, I had a big urge to spread the community love by sharing some of my favourite Bristol bloggers and influencers (who I’d love to see blogging, by the way…), so here are 20 of them, in no particular order.

Karina from Style Idealist - a Bristol blogger and influencer

Karina - @styleidealist

1

Karina has been doing big things on the blogging scene since 2015, and it's been amazing watching her go from strength to strength.

She's now got a wild 124k followers on Instagram, and works with loads of well-known fashion brands, making outfit inspiration videos for people with curves.

She's not blogging much these days, but she is writing for Glamour magazine, and her content is just gorgeous.

A photo of Abi Dare's home - a Bristol interiors blogger

Abi Dare - @thesefourwalls

2

Abi is not a cat (thats her little guy Loki) but since her blog and Instagram are interiors-focussed, it made more sense to include a photo of her home, rather than her face, lovely though it is.

Abi shares inspirational interiors - both of her own house and of inspiring places in Europe and beyond. I love seeing photos of her calm, warm home, and the places she's been to lately.

Franky from Love Audrey - a Bristol blogger and copywriter

Franky aka Love Audrey

3

Franky is a copywriter by trade, but to me, she'll always be a blogger, writing beautifully about her life with her family in Bristol, which she's been doing since 2009 (I scrolled all the way back to check, and was hit with some serious nostalgia).

More recently, I've been absolutely obsessed with her creative play journey, which she's been sharing on her Instagram regularly. She's prioritising it in her life more, and it's so inspiring!

Sophie - @saint.thrifty

4

Sophie has always been a fantastic writer and content creator. If you've been following her for a while, you might remember the travel blog that she wrote with her sister - Saints on a Plane, which later changed to Saints by Name.

She's now focussed on sustainable style and shopping second hand, and quickly gained popularity with her perfectly-edited Reels, racking up a massive 76k followers as of Feb 2025.

To avoid Instagram censoring her, and because she has so much to say, Sophie has also started writing more long-form pieces, which you can find on her Substack below.

Victoria from Bridges & Balloons - a Bristol travel blogger and influencer

Victoria - @bridgesandballoons

5

Victoria started her blog in 2012, but we somehow didn't meet until about 2018 - probably because she's always off on incredible adventures with her family, which is what her blog and Instagram is focussed on.

She's been blogging full time for a couple of years, creating incredibly helpful city guides and itineraries for the UK, USA and beyond.

Alice Tulip, a Bristol blogger and influencer

Alice Tulip

6

Alice is not only a bloody lovely legend, she also shares her super fun outfits and beauty bits on her Instagram and blog.

She also openly shares about her struggles with her illness (IBD) which is always helpful and encouraging to see for fellow chronically ill babes like myself.

Natalie Brereton from Stuffed - a Bristol food blogger and influencer

Natalie Brereton

7

Nat has got to be the queen of the Bristol food scene, and maker of the silliest vids in town.

She's super positive, and truly loves the Bristol indies, especially when it comes to all the amazing food establishments.

She is best known for her Instagram Reels and TikToks, but she also has an excellent food blog called Stuffed.

Leal Alexander - @curlygallal

8

Leal is one of those content creators that leaves you wanting more - a little elusive, never over-sharing, and always always with the most gorgeous photos and videos.

She posts lovely curly hair and beauty content, as well as a few sneak peeks into her home and lifestyle, and I hope to see her back in my feed sometime soon.

Isobel from Legume Mag - a Bristol food blogger and influencer

Isobel - @legumemag

9

I can't remember how or when I found Isobel on Instagram, but I'm so glad I did.

Isobel's content is packed with beautiful photos and videos of the most delicious, seasonal veggie food - I'm constantly saving her posts to my recipes folder on Instagram.

She's also started a Substack, where she shares her recipes and foodie travel recommendations. Check it out below.

Charlotte from A Fashion Oddity - a Bristol blogger and influencer

Charlotte @afashionoddity

10

Charlotte started her blog back in 2013 when she was just 16, focussing on fashion at the time, but evolving into lifestyle and food too, especially once she moved from Cornwall to Bristol.

On her blog, she makes great round-up guides of what's happening in Bristol in the summer and winter, as well as travel and foodie posts.

Lottie Storey - a writer and therapist from Bristol

Lottie Storey

11

I'm not sure Lottie would put herself in the category of blogger these days, but she remains one of my favourite wordsmiths, as well as one of the most interesting people I know.

She is a freelance writer and therapist, and has been posting on Substack about everyday magic, British folklore, as well as a lovely piece about missing writing for herself.

Nicole Dennett - @nicolejanelle

12

I think Nicole actually lives in Frome now, but I had to include her, because her Instagram feed is full of the most beautiful photography - she deserves every single one of those 49k followers.

Aside from being very cool on the 'gram, she runs a gorgeous homeware store called Neighbour with her partner, as well as a handmade furniture business, Folkhaus.

Inside Bristol on Instagram

Inside Bristol

13

Inside Bristol is the best curated feed of Bristol's amazing interiors - whether it's a café, restaurant, shop or salon, if it looks good, it'll be on the grid.

They also have an Inside South West page, which showcases beautiful interiors in south west England more generally.

Inside Bristol is run by a very talented team, who I also think you should follow on Insta...

Elly Deakin from Inside Bristol on Instagram

Elly Deakin

14

Elly is one half of Inside Bristol, so of course, she takes really great photos of Bristol, but also of other places when she's on a jolly to Bath, London, or further afield.

Always perfectly framed and edited, too, which is a huge plus in my perfectionist-eyes.

Zoe FJ from Inside Bristol on Instagram

Zoe FJ

15

Zoe is the other half of Inside Bristol, and it's interesting to see how her photography differs from Elly's, but is equally stunning.

On her grid, you'll obviously find loads of photos of Bristol, but I also really enjoyed her snaps of a recent trip to Mallorca, and I definitely wasn't super jealous of the sunshine.

Elly Pear

16

Elly used to run The Pear Café in Bristol (RIP) and has some lovely recipe books, but I really love her Instagram content, especially her rollover leftovers series, which are so good to combat food waste.

The recipes she shares on Instagram never feel complicated or full of unusual ingredients that are hard to get hold of - just good, proper food. What a legend.

Shonette from A Life Less Organised - a Bristol food blog

Shonette Laffy

17

Shonette is a staple of the Bristol foodie scene, the monthly food listings on her blog are sooo helpful for knowing what's happening in Bristol.

She also runs Rules of Engagement - an evening of all things marketing, from social media to emails to SEO, with panelists and slides and (most importantly) pizza.

Dan from essexeating, a Bristol food blogger and influencer

Dan - @essexeating

18

Despite the name, Dan is based in Bristol, and I reckon his food photos are my favourite - they're simple, clear, and always make me hungry, whether he's plating up one of his home-cooked meals or out at a restaurant.

Sundays just feel wrong if I don't see a photo of Dan's breakfast, and a special mention has to go to his horse drawings... if you know, you know.

Sam from fattyboomtatty, a Bristol food blogger and influencer

Sam - @fattyboomtatty

19

Sam is another super bold and fun fixture of the Bristol food scene, but I also love when she shares her outfits and make up looks too.

Another one of my faves is when Sam shares the most amazing vintage and second hand homewares - she's got a real eye for a unique bargain.

HJ - Wellbeing Done Well

20

So HJ isn't really a content creator, but I love her content, so here she is. She's an absolute bloody JOY to follow on Instagram, and I love that she keeps it real, always.

She's actually a wellbeing consultant and advocate, and holds amazing writing workshops (I'm very excited about the one in March).

You can now find her on Substack too, where she's writing longform content, and she's bloody good at it.

Wow, there we have a whopping 20 Bristol bloggers, influencers and content creators that I think are the flippin’ bees knees, although I’m sure I’ve forgotten a few… I do feel totally out-of-the-loop when it comes to the younger Bristol influencer scene, so maybe there’s someone new that I need to follow.

If you think I’ve missed someone super amazing off my list that I need to follow, hop over to my Instagram and send me a DM so that I never make such a silly mistake ever again (and maybe follow me while you’re there, if you’re haven’t already) – thanks!
